Dog / Canine Pricing

C4 Vaccination

$154*

  • Basic vaccination for puppies as their first shot, and for dogs who never leave home.
  • The vaccine covers Canine Parvo Virus, Canine Distemper Virus and Canine Infections Hepatitis, all of which are life threatening diseases. We have a very high incidence of Parvo in Dalby.
  • Puppies all need a course of vaccinations, starting at 6-8 weeks, and finishing at 14-16 weeks.

C5 Vaccination

$175

  • Vaccination for dogs who will interact with other dogs or visit places where other dogs have been.
  • It is compulsory for Boarding Kennels
  • This is strongly recommended if your dog goes on walks, to the dog park, campgrounds or caravan parks (or any other “pet friendly” accommodation.)

Desexing

Cat / Feline Pricing

F3 Vaccination

$154*

  • Basic vaccination for kittens as their first shot, and for indoor cats and single cat households.
  • The vaccine covers 2 of the most common causes of cat flu, as well as Feline Panleucopaenia Virus, which is similar to parvo in dogs.
  • All cats starting vaccinations will need a course of 2 shots, 3-4 weeks apart. Annual boosters are then required to maintain protection against cat flu.

FIV Vaccination

$57.85

if done with annual vaccination

  • $159 if done separately
  • Consecutive shots in initial course $57.85
  • FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is spread by biting and sexual contact with infected cats. We have quite a high incidence in Dalby.
  • Vaccination is recommended for all cats who go outdoors unattended (ie; not on a leash or in a cat enclosure).
  • An initial course of 3 vaccinations is required to acquire immunity, followed by annual boosters to maintain immunity.

Desexing

    - Post-op check-in phone call with one of our experienced nurses.

Optional

Pre-anaesthetic Blood Test

$179

  • This is a full 11 point chemistry test plus haematology (cell counts).
  • It’s main function is to check for any sign of underlying disease, especially of your pet’s liver and kidneys. These are the organs that metabolise most of our drugs, so if there is an issue, it sometimes means we need to adjust dosages, choose different drugs, or consider whether surgery is best postponed or avoided.
  • It also gives a nice baseline, so that if your pet becomes unwell down the track, we know where their levels were sitting when they were well.
  • We keep it optional for desexing, as the likelihood of there being an issue in a young, outwardly healthy pet is low, and we don’t believe in adding extra costs if they aren’t necessary.
